I never had issues with LDBM. OpenLDAP was very solid with it.
exactly, I'm switched also to ldbm, was using bdb before. Let's see if it runs better.
I think it is just an OpenLDAP issue. They seem to miss may important cases where the second server should be used because the first one chokes.
Now it works with fail-over (single line, multiple hosts) :)
