Hi List, I noticed that some spammers have found a workaround for the sanitycheck in qmail-smtpd. I most cases it works just fine, e.g.
220 mail0.speakeasy.net ESMTP helo 250 mail0.speakeasy.net mail from: user 554 mailfrom without @ is administratively denied But if I don't give it anything, it accepts the mesage, this is not good. 220 mail0.speakeasy.net ESMTP helo 250 mail0.speakeasy.net mail from: 250 ok -- or -- 220 mail0.speakeasy.net ESMTP helo 250 mail0.speakeasy.net mail from: "" 250 ok I am not able to adjust the regext rules in qmail-smtpd.c, but I am hoping someone will know how to solve this problem.
