Binc is already supported ;-)
I have a working installation that uses auth_pop+binc...

Jose,
thank you very much for the feed-back! Unfortunatelly, it didn't
solve my problem :-(
I did manage to get courier-4.0.2 working with
1) daemontools supervising imap, authdaemon, etc
2) tcpserver handling sockets
3) authdaemon handling proxyed connections
what I'm missing is:
- I can't get authdaemon to create the user's homedir. The "auth_imap"
programm shipped with qldap was responsible for doing that...
Anyone managed to do that?
Just use courier-imap 3.0.5 and auth_imap will work. Currently I don't
think I will write another auth thingy for courier -- before doing that I
want to support binc imap.
