I don't think passwords starting with a space are supported. For example is it unclear what the POP3 command "pass mypass" will do. Most parser will just jump over the two spaces. Using spaces in passwords is a very bad thing. You will find more breakages than you like. It is far easier to just deny " " in passwords and tell the users to use eg "_" as replacement. -- :wq Claudio
