I am having a very odd issue... I have a single mail server, and it has an ip of 192.168.1.11 an alias of .13 and another nic on 172.16.0.1.
if from that server I do telnet 127.0.0.1 25 I get connected immediately. if however I telnet to any of the other ip's it takes about 30 secs to connect. like this... [root]# telnet 192.168.1.11 25 Trying 192.168.1.11... Connected to mail.domain.local (192.168.1.11). Escape character is '^]'. ** waits here 30 secs ** 220 mx0.domain.tld ESMTP and then it proceeds to work just fine. This seemed to just start happening recently, though I am not aware of any changes.
