        Hi Roger, recently I upgraded a qmail-ldap-20030801
to the latest stable release of qmail-ldap. I hope that I
can help you with some hints. :)

        Not that difficult...

LDAP fields, the schema has changes, so you need
to upgrade your directory, when I did that, I create a
clean LDAP tree, export the old one to ldiff, made some
changes and "import" it in the new LDAP to test, then I
export and update the production server.

There are also changes in DeliveryMode, you
really should read QLDAPINSTALL and QLDAPNEWS.

Just copy the maildirs, and NO, you shouldn't
copy your queue with MTA running.

Just stop MTA's and copy maildirs. A good tip
is setup a step MTA server to receive the messages
while doing the upgrade and the forward it to the new
server.

Should be enough. But you can remove it from
init or stop it using "svc control".

Yep. Just check the docs and the site.

        Good luck. Kind regards,
