Dear sir,

i have found something peculiar here. i having my
samba-ldap as my primary domain controller. Now when i
try to send a mail using

 echo "to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]" |
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject

tail /var/qmail/log/qmail/current | tai64nlocal

i get unable to login to ldap server, bad
credentials.

I am using openldap server
i have found that the rootdn is
cn=Manager,dc=sun,dc=ad

I have given the same in ldaplogin file in
/var/qmail/control/ldaplogin

Now i tried pulling the details using the ldapsearch
command

 ldapsearch -x -b "dc=sbs,dc=sf" "(ou=users)" dn

i get the all the users listed

Now when i try to pull the details with this command

ldapsearch -x -b "cn=Manager,dc=sbs,dc=sf"
"(ou=users)" dn

 Ldap doesnt pull the details.

I guess that it is because of the cn=Manager i'm not
able to login to the server.

Kindy help me out..

Regards

gokul b
