Anybody out there who uses qmail-ldap on OpenBSD?

OpenBSD has nothing like nsswitch afaik. Actually, I don't care because
qmail-ldap and courier-imap have no problem with this. But
courier-maildrop has an issue with this circumstance.

When maildrop is called, it knows nothing except its own uid. The
getpwuid command fails and courier-authlib doesn't provide a lookup with
the uid as a search-parameter. (I already made a feature-request.)

Right now, I disabled courier-authlib within maildrop and hacked
maildrop in a way that it uses the environment variables ($USER, $HOME)
which are provided by qmail-local. This is ugly but should be safe for
me because each of my users has his own uid.

Are you using OpenBSD? Do you have a setup where each user has its own
uid? And how do you filter in this case?

Bye,
        Aiko
