        Hmmm... strange, I'm using qmail-ldap-20050401a, and
I have *exactly* the same headers...

        I added the text using phpldapadmin using iso8859-1
and utf8 in the browser and both failed. Perhaps it is a
phpldapadmin problem or a browser charset problem.

        I have to try with command line, but I'm not sure how
to encode the base64... any ideas/tips to save google time? :)
