Qmail-ldap reads the from information on messasge header or the user authenticating? Its check from patterns in to badmailfrom or badmailpatterns?

I have a lot of problems with "spammers". I'm applying the patterns in
the files badmailpatterns and badmailfrom, but its dont blocking the
messages. This accours in SMTP authentication process.
