Yes, it seems that you can specify a different config file. But I've not
tested it myself. :)
$ spamassassin --help
...
-C path, --configpath=path, --config-file=path
Path to standard configuration dir
...
--siteconfigpath=path Path for site configs
(def: /etc/mail/spamassassin)
...
