Please help. While you can not tar and restore the qmail queue (files are named by inode) it is no problem to tar the users maildirs. The only thing you need to pay attention to is that the live system delivers new mails. So it is normaly useful to run rsync accross the two machines to sync them from time to time. -- :wq Claudio
