Hi Gennady. I don't know what LDAP manager password is, but after added

  HOST 172.168.0.10
  BASE dc=domainku,dc=com

into /etc/openldap/ldap.conf, I can do the "ldapsearch -x" from my
qmail-ldap mail server. Before this, qmail-ldap server could manage user
logins both pop3 or smtp. For your information, the user id that I used to
login into phpqladmin was just ordinary user. The didn't have any
privilleges to change anything in the ldapserver except theirs. The ACL I
have in my /etc/openldap/slapd.conf is this

    access to attr=userPassword,sambaLMPassword,sambaNTPassword
        by self write
        by anonymous auth
        by * none

    access to *
        by * read

Btw, where should I put the ACL in phpqladmin configuration file?

2. try to increase memory limit in your php.ini an check again.

I've changed it from 8M into 32M but it has no effect at all.
Thanks for the reply.

Best regards,
