Luiz,

Turn ON RPCTCHECK.
Create the file ~alias/.qmail-domain or ~alias/.qmail-email with:

|/var/qmail/bin/forward [EMAIL PROTECTED]

OR

|/var/qmail/bin/forward [EMAIL PROTECTED]

In the first case, you accept all messages and forward to same username in other domain (using the variable $DEFAULT).

Hi,

Sorry for the simple question, but I'm having problems to create a simple alias.

I'm creating, for example, a file in ~alias/.qmail-teste with a email address inside.

It doesn't work.

How can I do that?

Thanks in advance,
Luiz.
I forgot to put the messages:

#ls -la /var/qmail/alias/.qmail-test

messages:
2008-07-02 19:18:23.564432500 qmail-smtpd 76873: bad recipient: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-07-02 19:18:23.565042500 qmail-smtpd 76873: message denied: Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1)
Hello,

My problem: I was using RCPTCHECK. I took off and everything works.

Thanks any way.

Luiz.

Luiz, don't disable RCPTCHECK since it will most likely cause the generation of many bounce messages, due to spammers. If you are using RCPTCHECK, and you do not wish to add that entry in your LDAP server, just add the address in question to the /var/qmail/control/goodmailaddr file and keep the ~alias/.qmail-teste you had.

Regards,

Hugo Monteiro.
