Dear All,
I am running qmail-ldap set up for my domain and now i
need not to accept any mail from unknown ip address on port 25 having
mail from address *...@mydomain.com.

I want to do this to stop accepting forged mails which contains mail
from address of my domain.

Let me know is it possible or not or if any of you have any solution
for this problem.

Hello again Piyush,

I actually forgot that i had a backup of the single patch file.

Just apply the patch to the source and recompile.

Basically you only have to define SENDERCHECK="AUTH", in your tcpserver rules file, for the networks you wish to apply the restriction.

I've been using it for over a year now in a couple of servers and it's been working without any issue. But if you, or anyone, find any drawback that i'm not aware of, please let me know.

Regards,

Hugo Monteiro.
