Just shooting this out to see what responses I get. I was interested in looking at what it would take to daemonize Q-S. Perl having to load everytime Q-S starts adds a lot to the server. As traffic and loads increase I can see that growing even more. I have looked at several things including the perl compiler and running perl as a daemon. Unfortunaly I haven't found a good solution. Has any one given this any thought? Maybe a SPAMC SPAMD model may be more suitable?
Thoughts?
