Hi, I just downloaded qmail-scanner-1.15. I have perl version 5.8.0 on Linux Mdk 8.0. I did, #./configure Then I did manual install from manual install section. All went well till, # /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g perlscanner: generate new DB file ERROR: incorrect format on line 82 - skipped perlscanner: total of 9 entries.
After this I added to tcp.smtp and made the file tcp.smtp.cdb 127.0.0.1:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue" 192.168.0.:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue" Also in /service/smtp/env, I made a file QMAILQUEUE with, /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl I tried sending a virus but it got through. /var/spool/qmailscan/qmail-queue.log did not record anything when i sent the virus.
