Hi! Did you try to increase (if used) the softlimit amount in (e.g.) /var/qmail/supervise/qmail-smtpd/run to a size approximate about 18000000 or other big values?
Usually your error looks like a perl error first, but the last one looks probably like a memory problem with softlimit...
