What about the Bayesian support in SpamAssassin 2.5+ (currently CVS only)?

I recently listened to a conference talk on Bayesian Spam filters where  the
chap said he thought a mixture of string matches and Bayesian was still the
best shot: and that still means SpamAssassin...

Obviously if you want to write support for another anti-spam system, go for
it. I use SpamAssassin and that's why it's in Qmail-Scanner :-)
