RFC 1123 requires you to accept mail with a blank "mail from:" Bounce messages from most (all?) MTA come from a blank "mail from:" to prevent loops. If you do not accept mail with blank mail from: you will no longer get bounces and risk being blacklisted on the RFC Ignorant list

As I understand only a virus or spam will ever look like this? I think other people on here mentioned off list that their qmail doesn't accept blank MAIL FROM: RCPT TO: so how have you achived this? Is this qmail-scanner or some other qmail-smtpd patch? If the connections get dropped there then I have no potential problem!
