Hi to all,
on 14/7 16/7 and 5/8 i posted 3 mails with the changes that i made (i'm not a
very cool programmer :-) ) on qmail-scanner 1.16 to let it works with
f-secure 4.50 .
Basically it have changed the output of the infected files as in example
below. From "infected" to "Infection" and them addess a "Suspected" output.
The have changed the output of the --version command used to generate the
qmail-scanner-queue-version.txt so now when you generate a new
qmail-scanner-queue-version.txt it is not recognized.

Example:

/var/spool/qmailscan/newnet110614441674262553/1061444168.2562-0.newnet1:
Suspected: Exploit.IFrame.FileDownload [AVP]
/var/spool/qmailscan/newnet110614441674262553/ft.xls.exe: Infected:
W32/[EMAIL PROTECTED] [F-Prot]
/var/spool/qmailscan/newnet110614441674262553/ft.xls.exe: Infected:
I-Worm.Tanatos.b [AVP]

There is the problem on password protected zip files on wich it exit with
error code 9.
In my last mails you can get all the error codes from f-secure 4.50.

I use it on several systems and it works very good.

In particular the feature to use the daemon to scan files let you use less
resources.

I hope to be of some help,
bye,
Marcello
