Hi. It appears qmail-scanner-1.20rc3 cannot handle attachments starting with a dash, or it might be the --fix-mime stuff?. here's my configure line:
./configure --spooldir /var/spool/qmailscan --qmaildir /var/qmail --bindir /var/qmail/bin --qmail-queue-binary /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue --admin postmaster --domain *** --notify none --local-domains *** --silent-viruses auto --lang en_GB --debug yes --unzip 0 --add-dscr-hdrs yes --archive no --redundant no --log-details yes --log-crypto 0 --fix-mime 2 --scanners "clamuko,kavscanner,fast_spamassassin=[SPAM]" Here's the error syslog entry: Sep 12 21:27:59 *** X-Qmail-Scanner-1.20rc3: [***10633893754564714] Requeuing: Maximum time exceeded. Something cannot handle this message. at /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl line 371. I couldn't find anything interesting in the debug log file... I had this hanging forever: /usr/bin/kavscanner -Y -P -B -MP -MD -info_digi-revolotion_12_sep.pdf -O /var/spoo I'm using "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux Version 4.0.3.0".
