Hello,
I've been using qmail-scanner for about a year now and I have run into some
problems running it on my current setup. I'm running slackware linux 9.0
with a custom kernel. I have SpamAssassin and Sophos antivirus on my servers
that qmail-scanner-1.20rc3 detected both of. When I install the script
everything goes well, I'm using:
./configure --admin spam --domain mydomain --notify admin, recips
Everything goes great... I can su to the qscand user and run
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g and it works fine.

Ok, so I've got two lines in my /etc/tcp.smtp file...
127.:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",RBLSMTPD="",QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue"
mydomain.com:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",RBLSMTPD="",QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl"
I do a qmailctl cdb to reload that... and a qmailctl reload just for giggles!
When I send the eicar virus... or any email it goes through. This is what
I've found. I have debug set to 1 in my ~/qmail-scanner-queue.pl file but
after sending and recieving several emails off the server sent from remote
and local hosts there is nothing in the /var/spool/qmailscan/qmail-queue.log
file. So my initial thought is that it's not being evoked... I really need
help on this. Things worked GREAT before. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Brandon
