But if you quarantine the messages, your users won't receive them, the messages will be saved in the server and you could delete them with a cron job. This will be safer because if you have a false positive you could resent it to the user.

Subject: [Qmail-scanner-general]Patch for 1.20rc4

Hi

I've written a patch for the 1.20rc4 that includes:

-the patch from Chris Hine <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> to quarantine spam messages over
a
"sa-quarantine" threshold, without notifying the sender.

-An option to "run first perl-scanner".

-An option to specify the "group" of the user that runs qmail-scanner

-A minidebug routine (enabled by default) that logs to qmail-queue.log
only the mail headers, the blocks, the errors and the elapsed time.

-An option for the "Admin from name" text in the notifications.

You can download the patch from:

<http://xoomer.virgilio.it/j.toribio/qmail-scanner/>

There you will find some documentation about the patch.

Cheers

Salvatore
