Doesn't getmail support re-injecting via SMTP? That would answer all your problems. Just ensure tcpserver sets QMAILQUEUE for 127.0.0.1 (probably QS_SPAMASSASSIN too), and configure getmail to deliver via SMTP to 127.0.0.1.
