Well, I will throw my 2 cents in also.
I don't really know what you mean by "working before".
Maybe this will help.
However, qmail-scanner was "working" before for me on the previous version. It sounds like your having a similar issue. I also followed the instructions to run as the qscand user .. blah blah. I keep getting permission denied .no matter all the things I tried for days. I don't know if this is because I am using qmailtoaster and not a generic qmail install. Probably not, other than it does use vpopmail. I have seen the "warning" or whatever you wanna call them about vop having issues with q-s and go complain to vpopmail list. Which is fine, I not here to flame or anything. However, I think most people that are having issues caused by vpopmail don't really realize why vopmail is causing a problem. Everyone just seems to say it's a vpopmail issuse and go talk to the vpopmail people. Thou kinna hard when you don't know why it's causing an issue ... etc. The only way I could get qmailscanner to work on 1.20 (that was working with 1.16) was to do a configure with a different uid.gid and not qscand . Maybe there is a better way dunno.
