Hi all,

>From my traffic graphs I saw that there was a large amount of incomming data
on a regular basis, which lead me to beleave my mailserver was rejecting
some message.
Searching though the logging of qmail-smtpd I found these lines which occurs
every time with a message from one specific server (mail7.messagelabs.com),
though which I know one of our customers sends his mail.

X-Qmail-Scanner-1.20:[gw2.sallandelectronics.nl107397211750713848] Unable to
close pipe to /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue [255] (#4.3.0) - Illegal seek

I probably should mention that I moved my spool direcory to /home/qscand
temporarily because the /var mount was running low on space, I linked
everything through a symlink, rights are all set correctly for the dir.
Rights for qmail-queue also correct. I know that there is a large message
inbound from this customer (100Mb+). I tested the server with a large
message myself (200Mb+), which made the virusscanner
maon and groan, but it was delevered without any problem.
All other mail is delivered without any problem.

Does anyone know what is happening here?

Thanks,
Arno
