I installed qmail-scanner with the following options, ./configure --admin eric.becker --domain wwt.com --notify admin --local-domains wwt.com,wwthc.com --install --scanners "fast_spamassassin=***SPAM***",clamdscan The installation went fine, and then I ran test_installation.sh without any errors:
# ./test_installation.sh -doit setting QMAILQUEUE to /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl for this test... Sending standard test message - no viruses... done! Sending eicar test virus - should be caught by perlscanner module... done! Sending eicar test virus with altered filename - should only be caught by commercial anti-virus modules (if you have any)... Sending bad spam message for anti-spam testing - In case you are using SpamAssassin... Done! Finished test. Now go and check Email for [EMAIL PROTECTED] However, when I only actually recieve two of the emails. I get messages 1 (inoffensive message) and 4 (spam). Message 1 comes in untouched (like it should) and message 4 comes in with ***SPAM*** tagged in the subject line (like it should). I checked /var/spool/qmailscan/quarantine.log and I can verify that it quarantined the two messages. Can anyone help me figure out why I didn't recieve an email stating that a virus was found in the two infected emails? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
