You have mis-installed Trend then. Look at the error "Permission denied" - sound like a permission problem :-) It's even vaguely mentioned in the Q-S FAQ: Sysadmins have a tendency to install things as root, and then test as root. Then they run Q-S (which doesn't run as root) and get hit by permission problems as the app isn't world-executable/whatever...
