Hi there

I've spent all weekend trying to figure this out but I've exhausted all my
options.

My problem is that when I start QMail with
QMAILQUEUE=/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue
I get the error message "451 unable to exec qq (#4.3.0)" when testing the
whole setup.

I have increased the memory limit to 15M in the qmail startup.

I am running Fedora (kernel 2.4.22). I have installed SpamAssassin and ClamAv
v0.72 on top of a running QMail installation patched with the QMAILQUEUE
patch.

I have tested SpamAssassin and ClamAV individually and they appear to be
working well.
I have set "User=qscand" in my clamd.conf file and re-started clamd.

I have compiled the qmail-scanner-queue.c file and have installed it
in /var/qmail/bin and done a
#chmod 4755 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue and
#chmod 0755 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl

I have run the "./test_installation -doit" script from the qmail-scanner
contrib directory and verified that the first email is delivered while the
next 3 are quarantined as expected.

/var/spool/qmailscan is owned by qscand.qscand

As an unprivileged user I can run "/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue -h" and
get the help message. I've run this with the -g option and the -r option
returns what looks like a list of rules to match headers against.

I have googled and searched this mailing list but I can't seem to find what
I'm missing. It must be staring me in the face but I've been looking at it for
so long I just can't see what I'm doing wrong.

I can't figure out which log-file to examine to determine which process is
having trouble. I suspect it should be /var/log/maillog (as this is set
in /etc/log.d/conf/services/qmail.conf) but nothing useful shows up here when
I get the #4.3.0 error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Jeremy
