Why was this patch: http://homepages.munich.netsurf.de/Franz.Sirl/qmail-pop3d-1.03.diff which adds support for spitting out X-UIDL and Status headers removed from www.qmail.org? I'm considering applying the patch if it helps out Eudora and Netscape with keeping track of read mail. I'm wondering if it was dropped by accident or if there is something fundamentally wrong with the patch.
