Hello, I now tried to test maildir as delivery-mechanism. This works just fine with my "inbox", both directly for mutt in a shell and for MS-Outlook via imap. Now mutt is even able to recognize other folders as well to be in maildir-format, but Outlook will give me all three subfolders and the message-subject will be the filenames stored in there. Do I have to change all my folders first befor trying to think switching completely to maildir or will this even result in such undesirable results as having three folders with strange subjects for every old mbox-folder. I am using the RH-qmail-rpms and the imap-rpm from the qmail-home-page. (No bashing for the rpms, on another system (SuSE) I installed everything "manually", qmail works really great on all systems and even saved a company some thousands DeutschMarks (nowadays 500 Euros), as they decided to drop Exchange, the customer is really enthusiastic about qmail's possibilities. *Thank you DJB*).
