Works fine for us with "serialmail".
We queue all email for the dialup-systems in Maildirs and periodically
try to deliver it.
(available from: ftp://koobera.math.uic.edu/www/serialmail.html).
We currently work on a solution using radius. I.e. get a trigger on
connect and then start maildirsmtp for that customer.

If YOU are the dialup-system you can simply send a "kill -ALRM" to qmail-send
or queue all outgoing email in a Maildir and also use serialmail.
