Accepting Backup Mail (relay)

Hi,

Whats the correct procedure to accept backup mail?

Do you need an entry in locals, rcpthosts? And what do you put in
smtproutes for when it comes back online?

There seems to be not much documentation on the files in
/var/qmail/control apart from man qmail-control.
