Hi,

I set up a mini qmail on a firewall system and have a few questions
about it.

First the setup:

I installed only qmail-smtpd, qmail-qmqpc and splogger on the firewall.
I made qmail-queue a symbolic link to qmail-qmqpc, as described in the
howto that I read somewhere (probably koobera:) I created a qmqpservers
file which has the IP address of the system that email needs to be
forwarded to.

This setup works rather well and easy, and is very small.

Questions:

- I would like to have qmail-qmqpc route mail to different qmqp servers
based on domain name. To the FW is MX for domain 1 and 2,
each domain has it's own 'behind the firewall' mailserver. Is this
  do-able?

- What are good motivations to have the miniqmail installation on a
bastion
host in the DMZ instead of on the firewall system itself?

Thank,
Fred Leeflang
