Wow.  You can do the same thing with rpm!

rpm -qpl packagename

lists what it's going to install.

rpm -q --scripts shows you the scripts that it'll run.  It'll even
show you what script it runs after de-isntalling.

Same w/ rpm.  So what's your point?
