And I'm only half joking here.

We could tell you that on at least one occassion a particularly tricky 
problem has come clear when someone on this list happens to connect to the 
SMTP port of the domain in question and finds a non-qmail server running.

Or it may be qmail that's running, but the SMTP conversation makes it clear 
why the mail is failing. These and other problems have been solved by the 
list *once* the true domain becomes clear.

So, as a general plea, we find unadulterated info vastly more useful.
