Netscape Mail 4.5

For some reason, I type in the 'user@vdomain' for the POP3
username/account name in netscape, and something happens to make qmail
think that user@vdomain is a real user as opposed to a vuser.  Whereas,
the user does not exist as real.  Any ideas?
