We have been using Qmail to automatically send emails to people. But the
header format has been giving us problems.
In our email construction we have
1) no "CC: " field in the header:
Subject: some subject here
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
This will result in
Subject: some subject here
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
CC: recipient list not shown: ; <== this gives people an
impression that we are forwarding the email
to other
people and in fact we did not.
2) If we use an empty list of "CC: ":
Subject: some subject here
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
CC:
Return_Path: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
We get
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
CC: Return-Path:, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
How can I not let the "CC: " field be shown in the constructed email
when a recipient receives it?
