Error msg. from matchup

Hi

Sorry if this is pretty basic...

While doing 

"cat logneu | ./bin/matchup > log1" in /usr/local/qmailanalog 

I get the message:

matchup: fatal: unable to write fd 5: file descriptor not open

What's wrong? Is my ulimit too low??
