There should be absolutely no difference between using "ice" and
"ice.gradwell.com" as it is only used for the greeting, i.e. instead of
+OK <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
you'll now see
+OK <26465.927679930@ice>
The reasons for your problems must be something else.
However, it looks like they're fixed now :-)))
