NFS Mounts

I'm curious about which parts of Qmail should not be mounted via NFS.

I am using Maildir
I am using multiple mail servers to work on the same data behind a serveriron.

Can the multiple servers share a queue directory?
What about the entire /var/qmail direcotory?
