Sqwebmail's CGI executable has to be run as setuid root, which is against good security behavior. It'd be better if it used a daemon to read/write the Maildirs and, say, named pipes to do the communication. Of course, then it could use sockets just as easily and read Maildirs from different machines. Maybe I'm just reinventing POP. Or not?
