Have everybody have an alias. You can even have the Unix file names all
like this: u0000001, u0000002, .... u0018604, ... and each of these will
have a corresponding file in ~alias. Like:
/var/qmail/alias> cat .qmail-monica:lewinsky
&[EMAIL PROTECTED]
would define the e-mail for [EMAIL PROTECTED] (remember to
translate dots to colons). With a little work you may even have this as
an automated user creation process (an administrative web page, for
instance) which picks the next available number from a file and asks for
a Real Name (for finger) and an E-Mail Name.
