Hi,

It seems as a newbie question but I couldn't find the answer
anywhere.

First of all, here is the setup I have:

All e-mail for my domain AAA.COM goes to ISP1.COM.
ISP1.COM forwards it to ISP2.COM. I get my e-mail from
ISP2.COM and want to distribut it all to the correct recipients.

ISP1.COM and ISP2.COM use recent versions of sendmail:
8.8... or better.

Presently I have this setup depending on a Win98 machine that
does all the e-mail distributing. It relies on the To: header to
distribute the e-mail. I am preparing to move to a Linux machine
with qmail. After reading everything I could find on the subject, I
believe I need ISP1.COM to write a X-Envelope-To: header on my e-
mail before forwarding it to ISP2.COM. This way qmail would have
the real information on who should get the e-mail.

Assuming I am right up to here, there it comes my question:

Does anybody knows how to setup a sendmail server to
include the X-Envelope-To: header on my e-mail? ISP1.COM's
hostmaster doesn't and I couldn't find info on that anywhere.

As I undestand, using the X-Envelope-To: header will provide
much better e-mail forwarding capabilities (ex.: mailing list
messages getting to the right recipient). If there is a better way,
please tell me.
