Can I get some pointers as to why I'm only getting somewhere between 25 and 50 concurrent deliveries even though I have 120 in concurrencylocal. Attached is the qmailanalog output. Basically, I seem to get horrible transfer rates on this machine and I'm trying to figure out why. -- Matthew Harrell Programmer - a red-eyed mumbling Bit Twiddlers, Inc. mammal capable of conversing with [EMAIL PROTECTED] inanimate objects.
Basic statistics qtime is the time spent by a message in the queue. ddelay is the latency for a successful delivery to one recipient---the end of successful delivery, minus the time when the message was queued. xdelay is the latency for a delivery attempt---the time when the attempt finished, minus the time when it started. The average concurrency is the total xdelay for all deliveries divided by the time span; this is a good measure of how busy the mailer is. Completed messages: 0 Total delivery attempts: 20240 success: 20176 failure: 27 deferral: 37 Total ddelay (s): 42525.935013 Average ddelay per success (s): 2.107749 Total xdelay (s): 44799.167297 Average xdelay per delivery attempt (s): 2.213398 Time span (days): 0.0403037 Average concurrency: 12.865
