I was wondering where a setting existed that would
allow qmail to not be quite so verbose in its logs. Is there anyway, in
maillog, it could just say, for example, a smtp or pop connection was successful
from a certain IP rather than a barrage of junk? It seems counter-active
to put so much stuff. It's not possible to read it all anyways. I
could search the file for keywords with logcheck (as I am currently), but what's
the point of just filling the HD up with (I'm not going to say worthless because
it is.) stuff that'll never be touched.
There's got to be an obvious setting somewhere, so
could someone enlighten me?
