No preceeding forward slash on the call to splogger (not to mention the
space in it). Should read as follows:
tcpserver -v -u 7770 -g 2108 smtp /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd \ 2>&1 |
/var/qmail/bin/splogger smtpd &
