Tell him about hotmail:
1. hotmail is part of M$
2. hotmail has about 50.000.000+ users
3. hotmail is using qmail
4. hotmail tried IIRC 2 years ago to switch from qmail to exchange but
they failed.
If that's not enough - have a look at www.qmail.org - there you find
some more really big sites/companies running qmail.
