Web interface pop3 mail checker

I'm going to setup a web interfaced pop3 mail checker for the isp I work for. Yesterday I tried something called acmemail, a cgi script written in perl. I didn't get this thing working, and the is not many manuals on this subject (as I could find). Anyone have something to recommend? It has to be safe and userfriendly, but it has to excist something out there that I can get working on my qmail mail server  ;)   // Martin
